You will be matched with a well-groomed mount, appropriate to your experience, from individually selected horses, and escorted by an experienced guide on a scenic, narrated, unforgettable ride through some of Maui's remote countryside.

The Hawaiian Excursion

Three Rides Daily + Special Events Historical Early Ride check in 8:30am, we ride along Kauaula Stream on the south rim of Kauaula Valley to a lookout at approx 1,200 ft elevation. From this vantege point we are able see the old hydro electric plant , built in the 1920's, old sugar cane terraces and irrigation ditches and incredible views all the way to the old Pioneer Mill, Lahaina town and harbor. The guides provide a comentary on Hawaiian histoery. Snacks and Beverages served. A 2 hour Little Adventure. $110 + tax per Rider. Lunch Ride check in 9:30 am, we ride along Kauaula Valley on the south rim all the way over to Launiopoko Valley. The trail is nestled up against the foothills of the West Maui Mountains. Incredible views of Molokai, Lanai and Lahaina Town and Harbor. Lunch is served at our authentic Hawaiian hale, situated adjacent to a fresh water reservoir. Sandwich-Lunch, Snacks and Beverages included. This ride takes approximately 3.5 hours. $135 + tax per Rider .... Sunset Ride Check in time changes with the seasons (check with Reservationist for exact time). This is what West Maui is all about; the most gorgeous sunsets in the world! Snacks and Refreshments served.   A 2 hour treat. $120 + tax per Rider. Once A Month We Offer Our Sunset & Full Moon Ride A honeymooner's delight; romance your partner on horseback! Enjoy sparkling cider and chocolates at the lookout. (Please check with our Reservationist for availabilities and check-in times   A 2 hour Sensual Experience $150 + tax per Rider.

THE MENDES RANCH TRAIL RIDES

Come with us to experience an unforgettable journey through Maui's most spectacular views on Horseback!  The journey begins at the Mendes Ranch Corral where you are greeted by real Paniolo's.  Canter up rolling pastures into the lush rain forest and gaze down into Eki Crater to view some of Maui's largest waterfalls.

The narrated tour then continues down the mountain where you will see Hawaiian taro patches and plantation homes.  The trail continues down along Waihe'e Valley through the crystal blue waters of the Pacific Ocean where we will be glad to take a picture of you on horseback with the Majestic seascape as a background.
